Pembrey Paws is fully licensed and insured, we are licensed with Carmarthenshire County Council.

All our dogs are genetically health tested with Animal Genetics and have clear results for all the hereditary conditions known to these breeds ensuring that any pups we breed here will never develop any of these conditions.

Pups are born in our private living/maternity room, so that Moms get peace and quiet from the rest of the furry family, all pups and Mom are monitored 24/7 with Alan sleeping on the sofa in the room for the first 6 weeks of their lives! 

Pups are weighed regularly and as they develop they are wormed regularly, we wean them with a quality food, and they learn all the sights sounds and smells of life in a family home. As they learn to walk and run around they get plenty of toys, cuddles by us and family and get a taste of a puppy pamper grooming session, also weather permitting they get some totally supervised outside playtime too in a lovely safe area we have specially prepared for them.

At 7 weeks of age they have their first car journey to the Vet where they all have a health check, a microchip and their first vaccine of DHPPi & Lepto 2.

They cannot leave us until they are 8 weeks of age, but on leaving we provide a personal folder for each puppy, this consists of the family tree, the vaccine card with microchip details, copies of parents health tests and an abundance of info on caring for your new pup from feeding to grooming, house training and basic training and much more!

We also include a brush and a comb, a blanket and their favourite toy and of course a bag of the food the pups are currently on!

We are always here as a lifeline for the pups we breed!
